PDF to Word: how does it work?

Is the layout kept?

Text, paragraphs, headings and page breaks are kept. Images and complex tables are not, yet.

My PDF is a scan, will it work?

A scan is a photo of the document: there is no text to extract. It needs character recognition (OCR), which is not offered yet.

Is it really free?

Yes. PDF Facile is funded by ads. The optional Premium plan removes ads and limits (the free version handles 20 files and 100 MB per task).

Are my files safe?

Yes. Processing happens in your browser, on your device. We never receive or store your files.
